Mark Buffa – Creator
Mark Buffa, CEO of Buffa Distribution, has been a Sage 300 user since 2017. Managing a vast inventory of over 45,000 SKUs and processing approximately 3,000 shipments per month, Mark recognized a crucial need for improvement in warehouse operations. This realization led him to conceive MetaBox.
At Buffa Distribution, Mark identified the necessity for a second layer of verification at the packaging step. Leveraging handheld scanners during box packing emerged as the most straightforward solution. Thus, MetaBox was born, offering a streamlined approach to enhance accuracy and efficiency in warehouse operations.
Luis Rodriguez – Lead Developer
Luis brings over 20 years of software development expertise to the table. Having collaborated with Mark on numerous software solutions tailored for the bowling industry, they embarked on their inaugural venture outside the bowling realm with MetaBox.
Specializing in web interfaces and server integrations, Luis played a pivotal role in the project’s success. His adeptness in incorporating native Sage300 calls within MetaBox proved instrumental in shaping the product’s functionality and ensuring its seamless integration with existing systems.
